HOW I MET “ME”

Often men are associated with backpacking. I always dreamed to be that wandering soul, traveling from place to place without any plan by breaking the stereotypes. Yes, I am a woman from South India but not a Tamilian. Not all souls who wander are lost. There is an exciting life when one chooses to indulge in wanderlust, like I found out.

Ever since I was a child, I remember having an intense liking for travelling. Until recently, I didn’t realize how much I wanted to get involved in traveling and make it a part of my life. When I was a kid, travelling was just an occasional event in my life. But now, my life revolves around traveling. Finally, when that adrenaline rush in me was hard to contain anymore, I took that one step forward and started my journey as a Solo backpacker. It all started with my solo backpacking trip to none other than the Mighty Himalayas. Yes, like the saying goes “Mountains are calling me”, I just obeyed the command.

The journey till now was neither easy nor difficult but it was something that made my soul happy and me a better person. I did bag a lot of experiences and memories. Like everyone I do have crush but unlike them not on person but on places. An Eternal and pure one.

For me, travelling is all about meeting people, spending with local people , trying new food , experiencing the places in their truest selves.
